COLLABORATION

I love the word and concept of collaboration.   I’ve found that by working with others I can accomplish much more than I can by myself.  Being part of a team, whether it be at work, in your family, at church or rooting for a sports team brings great reward and fulfillment. Who wants to do life all by themselves?  I have come to understand the value of having access to others who can help me in life as it brings greater confidence as I approach problems and / or opportunities.  I know that when things go well in my life I want to share them, first with my wife and then with others who want me to succeed. We all need to know that others care about us but beyond that is knowing that we can all add value to one another.

Knowing we can impact others lives and in turn the world is very powerful weapon for good. Learning effective collaboration and building strong teams also assures that those doing their part are not overwhelmed. Everyone can add value. Collaboration also allows us to see we all have unique God given gifts and talents and are needed.
