Israel-Hamas war: As of October 12th it’s been 737 days since the hostages were taken. President Trump has put forth an agreement approved by Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the beginning of October and was approved by Hamas on October 8th. We are cautiously optomistic that the hostages will be released on Monday, October 13th. Praise the Lord!! The familes will receive their loved ones.

Israel’s leadership voted to seize Gaza to put pressure on Hamas aand it seemed to have worked. The hostage negotiations have put this temporarily on hold. Last month, 60000 reservists have been asked to rejoin the IDF to serve but many had declined. Pray more will join to defend Israel.
The Iran-backed Houthis located in Yemen continue to launch drone missiles at Israel as well as boats traveling the Red Sea. Recently the Houthis said they decided to escalate their military support operations against Israel. Israel continues to respond to their attacks.
Distribution of aid to the 2.1 million people living in Gaza has had many challenges. Aid is often stollen by Hamas or gangs and often never reaches those in need. It’s also often sold for exorbitant prices. Pray this distribution improves and gets to those in need as it continues to affect world-wide opinion of Israel which is at record lows.
United Nations: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanhayu spoke at the UN Assembly and rebuked the 140 nations that supported a two-state solution. Pray any petition to create a two-state solution is defeated and more nations voice their support for Israel.
