US / Israel War with Iran: After 13 days of bombing strategic areas of Iran the United States has agreed to another tentative cease fire with Iran. Tensions continue to remain very high as the two sides continually see differences in what is agreed upon and quick to blame the other for why skirmishes have continued. Several Americans have been killed. In response to the United States recent bombings, Iran has responded by sending rockets to;
Bahrain: Targeted via drone strikes hitting U.S. communication systems and radar installations. Kuwait: Targeted with explosive drones hitting a Patriot air defense system, radar sites, and ammunition depots. Oman: Claimed a heavy strike utilizing missiles against logistics and refueling platforms at the port of Duqm. Qatar: Targeted via ballistic missiles directed at the Al Udeid airbase. Jordan: Hit in waves of retaliatory operations aimed at regional U.S. military assets. Pray for God’s will in this war. If the United States decides to restart this war American troops may be needed to go into Iran opening a huge can of worms. Gas prices had come down prior to the bombings but the average price of Gas in the United States is now over $4.00 per gallon.
Continue to pray for the underground church in Iran that continues to grow despite persecution. Many have given their lives in protesting the current regime’s suppression of free speech and freedom of religion. Pray for adequate bibles to be sent into Iran so believers can grow in the Word of God.
President Auon of Lebanon met with President Trump to discuss working together to eliminate the military threat of Hezbollah. Hezbollah continues to send drones and rockets into Israel from Southern Lebanon. This will include working with the IDF in setting up zones where both countries are working together against Hezbollah. This is a step in the right direction for Lebanon and Israel but trust must be developed for it to work. Pray for it’s success.
In the midst of the war with Iran many innocent lives in Gaza continue to be forgotten. One positive is the World Central Kitchen, run by Jose Andres, who continues to do amazing work helping those in need. Comment from their site: Thousands of families receive clean drinking water each day at WCK’s Deir al-Balah water facility. With resources in Gaza critically limited, our team is working nonstop to ensure people have access to both nourishing meals and safe water. https://wck.org/relief/chefs-for-gaza/
Pray for the men and women of the IDF fighting to keep Israel safe. It’s now been 1000 days and many soldiers have been injured and weary from battle. Hospitals continue to be short of space and the resources to treat the injured. Pray hospitals can expand and receive the resources they need to help the injured receive the care and treatment they need. Pray for the families being affected who are missing their loved ones.
West Bank violence- recently 4 Palestians and 2 Israeli were killed in gun fight. There are areas where Israelis are not welcome and they must be protected by the IDF before they go into these areas. The IDF are not policemen, so this has become a challenging situation.
Israeli elections will take place on Tuesday, October 26th. Pray that politicians running do so in a respectful and orderly manner. Pray against enemies of Israel who would love to destroy the elections through deceit or manipulation. The enemy would love to destroy the integrity of Israel’s election.
